Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 5–7 years of overall experience.
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.

Key Skills:

Primary Technical Skills:

  • Expert in SQL and Azure Data Factory—must-have.
  • Proven experience designing and building scalable data pipelines in ADF.
  • Skilled in ingesting batch and streaming data, with complex transformations.
  • Experience integrating data from APIs (REST, OAuth, SOAP) into Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 or Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Proficient in handling semi-structured data formats like Parquet and JSON.
  • Azure Synapse and Data Warehouse experience—designing secure data models and managing analytics workloads.
  • Hands-on with Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Blob Storage.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, design, optimization, and best practices.
  • Experience working with very large datasets and delivering analytical insights.

Secondary Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and creating CI/CD pipelines on Azure.
  • Ability to build programs to extract data from external applications and services using REST APIs and various authentication methods.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Document DB, Graph DB) is a plus.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a cooperative team environment.
