Job Description:

  • As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the data pipelines and infrastructure that power our platform's intelligence, traceability, and operational workflows. You'll work closely with software engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and performance across systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across internal and external data sources.
  • Develop data ingestion frameworks to unify fragmented systems of record.
  • Ensure both real-time and batch data processing capabilities for operational workflows and analytics.
  • Collaborate with architects and product teams to define flexible, extensible data schemas for evolving structures.
  • Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and schema versioning.
  • Support the creation of a single source of truth with strong traceability and auditability.
  • Work with AI/ML teams to ensure data availability and structure for agentic workflows and predictive models.
  • Partner with QA and engineering teams to validate data flows and support testing strategies.
  • Contribute to observability and monitoring of data infrastructure.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in data engineering, ideally in fintech or private markets.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure data services, including:
  • Azure Data Factory for building and orchestrating data pipelines.
  • Azure SQL Database for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Azure Data Lake Storage for scalable data storage.
  • Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, or Azure Functions for event-driven architectures and real-time data flows.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, schema design, and governance practices within Azure environments.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a plus.
