Job Overview
We are looking for a
hands-on Azure Data Engineer / Integration Specialist
with experience in
Azure Databricks, Logic Apps, Data Lake, and Data Factory
. The candidate will design, develop, and manage
data integration pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and workflow automation
on Azure cloud, ensuring scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Azure Databricks environments, including Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, job clusters, and performance tuning.
  • Design and implement Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation and system integrations.
  • Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Event Hub/Event Grid, and Service Bus.
  • Work with Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, SQL Database, and Synapse for scalable data solutions.
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and big data solutions.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and code in Python, Scala, or .NET.
  • Ensure security and compliance in Azure environments.
  • Work with Git-based version control and DevOps pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and data engineering issues.

Mandatory Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, job clusters, performance tuning).
  • Strong experience with Azure Logic Apps for automation and integration.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Event Hub/Event Grid, and Service Bus.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one programming language (Python, Scala, or .NET).
  • Solid understanding of Azure storage options (Data Lake, Blob Storage, SQL Database, Synapse).
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, or other BI tools.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML integrations.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures and streaming pipelines (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs).
  • Knowledge of data governance tools such as Azure Purview.
  • Azure Certifications: Data Engineer Associate, Solutions Architect, or Databricks Certified Developer.
