The Billing Engineer for the ELV (Extra Low Voltage) sector is responsible for preparing, managing, and verifying all project billing activities related to ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, Public Address, and other low-voltage solutions. The role involves coordination with project teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate measurement, documentation, and timely submission of bills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review quantity take-offs (QTO) for ELV systems from drawings and site measurements.
  • Prepare client bills, subcontractor bills, and internal cost statements.
  • Verify BOQ, material consumption, and labor productivity.
  • Coordinate with the project team for site progress updates and validate billing based on actual work completed.
  • Prepare progress reports, MIS reports, and billing summaries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of drawings, variations, change orders, and approvals.
  • Assist in rate analysis, cost forecasting, and budgeting for ELV works.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and billing timelines.
  • Follow up with clients for bill certification and payment processing.
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores for material reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, or related engineering fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Billing Engineer, preferably in the ELV sector.
  • Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm, PA, Networking, Access Control, Fiber, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP tools.
  • Excellent understanding of BOQ, estimation, costing, and billing procedures.
  • Good analytical and communication skills
