Department: PPIC
Position Overview:
To lead and manage the PPIC function for injectable manufacturing operations, ensuring effective production planning, material availability, and inventory control in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and control the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts and plant capacity.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure on-time and compliant manufacturing.
- Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock, prevent shortages or excess, and ensure full traceability.
- Oversee inventory accuracy through effective ERP/MRP management and periodic stock reconciliation.
- Ensure all PPIC activities comply with cGMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements (e.g., WHO, USFDA, EU-GMP).
- Lead effective system utilization and maintain accurate data for production planning and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling, material flow, and resource utilization.
- Lead, coach, and develop the PPIC team to strengthen planning and analytical capability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma / M. Pharma) with minimum 15+ years of experience in sterile/injectable pharmaceutical operations.
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP and production planning systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
