You Will Be
As part of the Merchandising Systems team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through the design, development, and execution of world-class merchandising technology solutions. This role is focused on building and supporting scalable systems that support evolving business needs and enable data-driven merchandising decisions

What You Will Do

• Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability
• Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels
• Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for Merchandising systems and processes
• Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents
• Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed

You Also Have

• Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) – writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Experience in integrating with web services and third-party APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Proficient in using version control tools like Git.
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice To Have

• Retail experience
• Experience with Python for scripting, data processing, or automation tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular or React.

What You Will Bring

• Deep technical expertise in designing and developing applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET frameworks.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases – particularly Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQL Server – with the ability to write efficient queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and development to deployment and support.
• Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Python for automation, scripting, or data transformation is a plus.
• A strong commitment to quality, testing, and documentation.
• Willingness to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making.
