We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage operations within our Production Department, with a focus on the mechanical and electrical assembly of battery energy storage systems and control panel manufacturing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on technical expertise, strong team leadership, and a proactive approach to managing shop floor activities in alignment with quality, safety, and productivity standards.

This is a critical role that bridges design intent with execution excellence, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams, adherence to engineering specifications, and direct involvement in day-to-day operations.

Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end production and assembly of electrical panels, container, enclosures, and integrated systems for energy storage applications.
  • Supervise mechanical fabrication, welding, electrical wiring, and component integration activities, ensuring execution in line with approved designs and drawings.
  • Ensure that all production activities are completed on schedule, within quality parameters, and in accordance with safety regulations.

Technical Execution & Support

  • Interpret, suggest and execute GA drawings, BOM, and assembly layouts with precision.
  • Guide technicians during complex integration tasks, including busbar installations, terminations, and panel testing.
  • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies or assembly issues during the production lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile

  • ITI certification in Mechanical, Electrical Instrumentation, Fitter, or Wireman discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in panel manufacturing, with at least 3 years involving hands-on welding work (MIG/TIG/Arc).
  • Experience in HVAC and chiller manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical assembly, piping, jigs/fixture and electrical integration techniques. panel wiring exposure and basic SLD knowledge is preferred.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, including mechanical drawings. Understanding of electrical schematics, control wiring etc. Is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as drilling, crimpers, torque tools, measuring instruments, drills, and wire stripping equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and guide technicians in real time.
