We're Hiring – Product Development Specialist at Vedic Cosmeceuticals

The New Product Development (NPD) Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of new cosmetic products from concept to commercialisation. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of cosmetic formulation, regulatory requirements, project management skills, and a passion for innovation. Desired experience- 8-10 years in similar field.

  • Drive the development of new cosmetic products in line with client briefs, market trends, and regulatory standards
  • Evaluate raw materials and technologies to recommend innovative solutions
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during product development phases
  • Translate customer briefs into actionable development plans
  • Ensure all NPD projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and on budget
  • Coordinate stability testing, compatibility, claims substantiation, and artwork approvals
  • Monitor industry trends, ingredient innovations, and competitor activity to propose new ideas
  • Attend and meet clients in business events and exhibitions to identify potential leads to generate source of business
  • Provide strategic input to clients and internal teams on market-driven product development
  • Manage product development timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and brand owners
