Roles & Responsibility:

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals, considering the unique market dynamics of the Southern and Western regions of India.
  • Analyze market trends (e.g., government policies like PM Suryaghar, state-specific net metering regulations), competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Set and manage sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly) for the region and ensure the team is aligned to achieve them.
  • Develop business, marketing, and advertising plans to increase market share and brand influence in the assigned territory.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team (including Area/Territory Sales Managers and field sales representatives) to ensure strong performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of new sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary technical and sales skills.
  • Monitor team performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the regional team and with other departments like marketing, operations, and product development.

B2B and B2C Sales & Relationship Management

  • Drive B2B sales by building and managing relationships with key stakeholders such as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies, installers, distributors, and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers.
  • Manage B2C sales through effective channel management plans, ensuring product availability and strong relationships with dealers and retailers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners in both sectors.
  • Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and close deals while ensuring profitability.
  • Organize and participate in industry events and trade shows to promote products and network.

Operational and Financial Oversight

  • Prepare and manage the regional sales budget, balancing revenue growth with cost management to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local state policies related to solar energy and net metering.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key insights and analysis.

Key Requirements

  • A strong understanding of the South and West India solar market, including rooftop solar, C&I, and residential segments.
  • Techno-commercial knowledge of solar inverters and related components.
  • Proficiency in CRM software for tracking sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the South and West regions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹850, ₹960,000.00 per year
