Key Responsibilities • Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small -scale to large -scale construction projects ina safe, timely, and sustainable manner.• Conduct on -site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and otherproject -related information).• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare blueprints that meet technicalspecifications.• Assess potential risks, required materials, and project costs.• Provide expert advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies.• Oversee and mentor staff while liaising with a variety of stakeholders.• Hand over completed structures and services for operational use.• Monitor project progress and compile detailed status reports.• Manage budgets and oversee the procurement of equipment and materials.• Ensure compliance with all guidelines, regulations, permits, and safety standards whiledelivering technical files and other required documentation. Requirements • Proven working experience in civil engineering.• Mandatory: Excellent knowledge and hands -on experience in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).• Experience with design and visualisation software such as Civil 3D or similar tools will be anadded advantage.• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.• Strong project management and supervision skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Professional Engineering License.• Commercial awareness with expertise in estimation and budgeting.• Ability to work in a team and build strong professional relationships.• Strong problem -solving capabilities.• Effective stakeholder management and ability to get work executed on time.• A keen eye for detail and quality.
