MEP Engineer/Project Planning

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at project sites. The role involves reviewing designs, supervising installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating across teams, and delivering projects within quality, safety, and cost parameters. Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret MEP designs, drawings, and project specifications.Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and civil/structural teams to ensure seamless execution.Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to safety standards.Ensure compliance with IS codes, safety regulations, and company policies.Prepare and validate material requisitions, ensuring timely availability of required items.Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization for MEP works.Conduct quality checks and resolve on -site technical issues promptly.Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.Prepare project documentation including daily/weekly progress reports, as -built drawings, and O&M manuals. RequirementsCandidate Requirements:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (with MEP specialization preferred).3–7 years of experience in MEP engineering (construction/infrastructure/real estate projects).Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire -fighting standards.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software will be an added advantage.Excellent problem -solving, coordination, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
