Role Overview

As a Senior QA Analyst, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our desktop products through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement QA strategies, drive continuous improvement, and uphold quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated testing across agile development iterations to ensure product quality and zero defect delivery.
  • Participate in iteration planning, contributing to testing tasks estimation, risk assessments, and QA process planning for user stories.
  • Design, write, and manage comprehensive test cases and bug reports with clear documentation and actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to develop and execute QA strategies to meet organizational quality standards.
  • Provide insightful feedback on software usability, functionality, and performance.
  • Ensure all identified defects are communicated effectively and addressed promptly and thoroughly.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and ensure integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Promote QA best practices across the team and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, WebDriver, and TestNG (preferably with Java).
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and scaling automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, test planning, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to identify, document, and troubleshoot bugs efficiently with a focus on test coverage and product quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • A team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for quality.
