Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Deputy CTO to partner with the CEO in driving the technology vision, architecture, and engineering execution for our core digital logistics platform services. This role is central to scaling our IT infrastructure, enhancing digital service delivery, and ensuring our technology stack supports rapid market expansion and operational excellence across the logistics domain.
Crucially, the Deputy CTO will lead the company's end-to-end Digital Transformation agenda, modernizing the entire product development lifecycle and core platform.

Key Responsibilities & Digital Transformation Mandate

This mandate focuses on transforming our technology footprint and delivery culture to support hyper-scale logistics operations.

[Digital Transformation & Strategic Vision:]

• Champion and execute the company-wide digital transformation strategy, focusing on leveraging technology to create new business models, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
• Lead Tech-initiatives to support CEO for defining and executing the multi-year technology roadmap for our platform, focusing on cloud adoption,
  microservices architecture
  , and API strategy.

[Product Development Modernization:]

• Overhaul and modernize the entire Product Development organization and processes (SDLC).
• Implement state-of-the-art practices like Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) , feature flagging, and rapid experimentation to increase delivery velocity and quality.

[Platform Leadership & Architectural Governance:]

• Directly lead and mentor engineering teams, overseeing the development life cycle for high-availability, scalable digital services (e.g., real-time tracking, inventory management, last-mile optimization).
• Drive the migration and modernization of legacy systems to cutting-edge,
  cloud-native solutions
  to support data-intensive logistics operations.
• Ensure architectural consistency, security, scalability, and performance standards across all digital products and services.

[Innovation & Competitive Edge:]

• Champion the research and implementation of emerging technologies (
  AI/ML, IoT, advanced analytics
  ) to create competitive advantages in the logistics space.
• Focus R&D efforts specifically within
  demand forecasting and route optimization

Required Qualifications
