We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to join our finance team. The ideal candidate currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and has a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Performing bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Aiding with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry and invoice processing.
  • Supporting the team during the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assisting with auditing procedures and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Maintaining and organizing financial records and documentation.
  • Researching and resolving accounting discrepancies and issues.
  • Learning and utilizing accounting software and systems.
  • Performing general administrative tasks as needed by the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional office environment.
  • Previous internship or related experience is a plus, but not required.
