Accountant (Female)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions using Tally software, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and publish timely financial statements (e.g., Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statements) and management reports.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS compliance) in accordance with statutory regulations.
• Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure internal controls are maintained.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and ensure adequate database backups.

Requirements and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven work experience (1-2 Year) as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Tally Proficiency (MANDATORY): Expert-level proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime is required for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
