Job role & responsibilities:

You will be the cornerstone of our billing and accounts receivable process. This role requires a meticulous professional who can handle the complexities of pharmaceutical billing, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be an expert in billing codes, insurance claims, and revenue reconciliation within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute all aspects of the pharmaceutical billing cycle, from order entry to final payment.
  • Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices for pharmaceutical products and services.
  • Process and reconcile payments from various payers, including insurance companies, government programs, and direct customers.
  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and rejections in a timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical billing codes regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of direct experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
  • Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical billing, medical coding, and insurance claims.
  • Proficiency with accounting softwares.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
