We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester ll Bangalore, Chennai ll 6+ yrs of exp. to join our

engineering team. The candidate will work on developing backend services, RESTful

APIs, and microservices, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver

high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    automation frameworks
    using
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Playwright
    .
  • Automate test scenarios for
    Finacle Core Banking
    and related modules (Loans, Deposits, Payments, CRM, etc.).
  • Collaborate with functional testers, developers, and business analysts to understand system requirements and define automation scope.
  • Execute automated regression and smoke test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
  • Optimize and maintain test scripts for reusability, stability, and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, documentation, and traceability matrices.
  • Participate in test planning, review, and execution in Agile/Scrum environments.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Selenium WebDriver
    for UI automation.
  • Experience in
    Playwright
    for modern web application testing.
  • Proven experience working on
    Finacle application testing
    (Functional and Automation).
  • Proficiency in
    Java / Python / TypeScript
    for scripting test automation.
  • Familiarity with
    TestNG / JUnit / Pytest / Mocha
    frameworks.
  • Experience in
    API testing
    using tools like
    Postman
    or
    Rest Assured
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    banking workflows
    and
    core banking systems (CBS)
    .

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with
    Defect Management Tools
    (JIRA, ALM, Bugzilla).
  • Knowledge of
    SQL
    for database validation and backend testing.
  • Understanding of
    performance testing
    using
    JMeter
    or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with
    version control systems
    like
    Git
    .

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    .
  • ISTQB / Automation Testing Certification preferred.
