An Onsite Implementation Engineer is responsible for deploying, configuring, testing, and supporting software or hardware solutions directly at the client's location. They act as the bridge between the technical development team and the customer, ensuring smooth implementation, integration, and user adoption of the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Deployment
  • Install, configure, and test software/hardware solutions at client sites.
  • Ensure successful integration with existing client systems.
  • Customize applications based on client requirements.
  • Client Interaction
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Technical Support
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during and after deployment.
  • Escalate complex issues to the development/support team when needed.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and quality checks.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain detailed records of configuration, installation steps, and changes.
  • Prepare project implementation reports and status updates.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and support teams.
  • Provide feedback from clients to improve products and processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle), networking basics, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, or ERP/CRM systems (if relevant to the product).
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently at client sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in implementation, technical support, or field engineering.
  • Certifications in networking, databases, or specific software products (optional but beneficial).

Typical Work Environment

  • Frequent travel to client locations (domestic or international).
  • Onsite work during deployment phases — sometimes extended hours during go-live.
  • Hybrid collaboration with remote technical teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹284, ₹1,213,099.14 per year
