Role & responsibilities :

  • Customer Engagement & Requirement Gathering

  • Work with sales teams to understand customer networking challenges and objectives.

  • Conduct technical workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions.

  • Solution Design & Proposal Development

  • Design and recommend enterprise networking solutions (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Security, Data Centre).

  • Prepare high-quality proposals, BOMs, HLD/LLD diagrams, and RFP/RFI responses.

  • Ensure that proposed solutions are technically robust and aligned with customer needs.

  • Sales Enablement

  • Provide technical support during customer meetings, presentations, and demos.

  • Deliver proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot implementations for networking solutions.

  • Position competitive differentiators of the proposed network solutions.

  • Collaboration & Handover

  • Work closely with delivery/implementation teams to ensure smooth project transition.

  • Provide pre-sales documentation and technical handover.

  • Technology Expertise

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking technologies such as

  • Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE Aruba, etc.)
  • SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Palo Alto)
  • Network Security integration (Firewalls, NAC, IPS/IDS, Zero Trust)
  • Wireless & Campus Networks
  • Data Center Networking & Virtualization (VXLAN, EVPN,ACI, NSX)
  • Achieve and maintain relevant vendor certifications.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in network engineering / pre-sales consulting.
  • Strong technical expertise in enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, routing/switching, and security integration.
  • Hands-on experience with solution sizing, BOM creation, and proposal writing.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Cisco), NSE (Fortinet), PCNSE (Palo Alto), VCP-NV (VMware NSX), JNCIP/JNCIE (Juniper).
