Piping Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sound knowledge on ASME Codes - piping
  • Perform Engineering calculations for piping Design like pipe thickness and size.
  • Preparation of Piping Isometrics based on Layout drawing.
  • Preparation of Piping Design by referring P&ID.
  • IBR calculations for pipe design.
  • Ability to read P & ID and based on that prepare Piping 3D.
  • Ability to read CAESAR II report.
  • Extraction of BOM from Isometric drawing.
  • Preparation of Piping Layout.
  • Familiar with Navis model and clash test.
  • Preparation of P&ID based on input.
  • Knowledge of equipment creation on the basis of Equipment GA.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in piping design and engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or associated branches.
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)
  • Experience with 3D CAD software such as
    AutoCAD Plant 3D, Cad Works, AutoCAD
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of excel, word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of working on CAESAR II (will be given preference)
