Key Responsibilities

  • Review various piping documents and deliverables (layouts, isometrics, BOQs, stress analysis reports).
  • Ensure that the instrumentation designs comply with codes (ASME, ASTM, ANSI, IS), project specifications, and constructability requirements.
  • Monitor interface management between piping and other disciplines.
  • Evaluate and approve piping material specifications and procurement packages.
  • Participate in model reviews (3D CAD, SP3D, PDMS).
  • Provide technical clarifications and resolve queries from various contractors and consultants.
  • Support project team during construction, commissioning, and start-up by validating design integrity and addressing field changes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 8+ years of piping engineering, including significant experience in large scale process units, in a design and engineering firms. Owners Engineer or PMC role experience will be further desirable.
  • Familiarity with ammonia, hydrogen, or petrochemical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of piping stress analysis and material selection.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to challenge EPC deliverables constructively.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of international engineering practices and multi-cultural project environments.

Travel & Visa

  • 20–30% international travel plus domestic site visits.
  • US B1/B2 Visa holder preferred.
