Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Material Engineer based in Pune. The Piping Material Engineer will be responsible for researching and selecting appropriate materials, analyzing material properties, designing piping systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. In this role, collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to project development from concept to execution, and providing technical expertise on metallurgy and material compatibility are key components of the day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience : 8 to 15yrs
  • Proficiency in Materials, Material Selection, and understanding of Materials Science
  • Strong knowledge of Metallurgy and experience in handling different materials for various piping applications
  • Competence in Research and Development (R&D) with the ability to evaluate and propose innovative material solutions
  • Experience in working with engineering design standards and codes, as well as international material specifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a proactive approach
  • Prior experience in the process or manufacturing industry will be an advantage
