Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Business Analyst with specialized expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining, documenting, and optimizing end-to-end revenue cycle processes, spanning front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end operations.

This role requires strong knowledge of payer requirements, coding standards, claims workflows, and cross-functional collaboration within the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:Front-End RCM

  • Ensure accurate patient registration and intake.
  • Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
  • Manage prior authorization and coverage validation.
  • Prepare medical necessity documentation in compliance with payer requirements.

Mid-Cycle RCM

  • Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, J-Codes, and SNOMED.
  • Knowledge of 837P and 837I claim submission formats.
  • Apply payer-specific rules to ensure clean claim submission.
  • Handle denials and resubmissions with proper documentation.

Back-End RCM

  • Post and reconcile payments using ERA and EOBs.
  • Conduct payment variance analysis and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage patient balances and coordinate billing follow-ups.
  • Partner with finance and customer service teams for issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare / RCM domain.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end RCM processes (Front-End, Mid-Cycle, Back-End).
  • Strong understanding of payer requirements, coding standards, and claim workflows.
  • Excellent requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Healthcare RCM, Business Analysis, or Health Informatics.
  • Experience with EHR/RCM systems and familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
  • Exposure to Healthtech or Healthcare IT implementation projects.
