About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer (Intern) skilled in TypeScript + to help us build the backend for our live order tracking screen.

Your main responsibility will be developing the services that power real-time order and driver location updates — ensuring smooth live tracking for users. This includes handling WebSocket connections, event-driven updates, and efficient communication between services with RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker.

Responsibilities


• Develop backend services using + TypeScript with frameworks like Express/NestJS.


• Build and maintain APIs for orders and live location tracking.


• Implement the backend logic for real-time updates on the live order tracking screen.


• Work with PostgreSQL + Prisma ORM for database queries and schema management.


• Integrate RabbitMQ for inter-service communication.


• Use Redis for caching and session management (e.g., live location updates).


• Work with WebSockets for real-time communication between server and client.


• Implement Webhooks for event-driven integrations (e.g., order status updates).


• Build and manage Dockerized microservices.


• Collaborate closely with the Flutter frontend team to deliver seamless APIs.


• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code.

Requirements


• Knowledge of TypeScript and


• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM (or similar).


• Understanding of RabbitMQ and message queues.


• Experience with WebSockets for live updates.


• Familiarity with Redis for caching and real-time data handling.


• Basic knowledge of Docker and microservices.


• Strong understanding of real-time system design.
