Role & responsibilities
Position Overview:
Deloitte USI in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Project Management, for their Marketing team. This role serves as the central liaison between the Marketing Campaign Manager and Agency teams, overseeing campaign production from briefing through final delivery to ensure alignment with objectives, budget, and timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Marketing Campaign Manager and lead Agency teams to drive production from campaign briefing to final delivery, on brief, on budget and on time
- Collaborate with Marketing and Agency to define campaign scope, deliverables, workback, budget and workflow
- Be the main point-of-contact for Marketing Campaign Manager and the Agency teams, and quarterback for Agency teams (Creative, Strategy, Social, Digital, PR, and Analytics)
- Balance day-to-day, tactical needs of the campaign with big picture, problem-solving, forward-looking processes across the multi-disciplinary teams
- Balance creative aspirations of the Agency with the business objectives, budget and schedule of Marketing
- Responsible for identifying and driving solutions to project risk challenges
- Report regularly to Manager of Agency Operations, and in turn Head of Creative Programming on project status and health
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- 5+ years experience as a Marketing professional in a project management role, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, such as, account managers, art directors, producers, copywriters, clients, etc.
- Experience working on either the client side or agency side (preferably both)
- Proactive self-starter with a passion for creating marketing production workflows, streamlining processes, and problem solving
- Experience managing campaign budgets
- Demonstrated ability to motivate cross-functional teams, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role
- Expert understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and run team meetings
- Ability to solve complex campaign problems with keen instincts and organizational skills
- Must be able to simultaneously focus on the big picture, nuanced details, and driving results
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability/ability to multitask competencies
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, learning and growth
Shift Timings: This position will require working in a late shift to facilitate partial overlap with Pacific Time (Vancouver, Canada)
