Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, process-driven Head of Operations to lead Royal Brothers' multi-city operations across India. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in fleet operations, process design, and customer experience management to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence at scale.

This role is built around execution, accountability, and systemization — creating and enforcing robust SOPs for every operational touchpoint: fleet readiness, turnaround time, customer delivery, maintenance, and on-ground service quality.

You will own the complete customer journey post-booking — ensuring every ride experience is smooth, every city functions at defined service levels, and every operational task is executed within measurable timelines. The goal is to make Royal Brothers a benchmark in reliability and rider satisfaction through data-backed decision-making, process control, and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Operations Execution & City Management

Oversee city-level operations — daily fleet management, servicing, logistics, and manpower allocation.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for city managers; track KPIs on utilization, uptime, and cost metrics.

Establish a central command dashboard to monitor live operational performance.

2. Process, Cost & Efficiency Optimization

Standardize and implement SOPs for maintenance, delivery, and turnaround.

Drive projects to reduce cost per km, optimize fuel and manpower usage.

Design preventive maintenance and spare part management systems.

3. Vendor & Partner Management

Build a vendor network for repairs, spares, and logistics support across all cities.

Negotiate and finalize SLAs, ensuring performance metrics are met.

Ensure compliance with local RTO, insurance, and regulatory standards.

4. Team Development & Leadership

Lead a 50–100 member operations team across India.

Train and groom city leads on process control, data tracking, and cost management.

Foster accountability and ownership through regular reviews and audits.

5. Data & Reporting

Maintain central MIS on fleet utilization, downtime, and expense ratios.

Present weekly performance dashboards and monthly city-level profitability reports to the leadership team.

Use data to drive decisions — route planning, manpower scheduling, and city scaling.

Profile We're Looking For

• Mechanical / Automobile background with an MBA in Operations / Supply Chain (Preferred: SIOM, NITIE, SCMHRD, SPJIMR, Great Lakes, etc.)
• 8–12 years of experience in mobility, logistics, fleet, or rental operations.
• Strong command of Excel, data analytics, and process modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and people leadership skills.
• Hands-on attitude — should be comfortable visiting workshops, riding locations, and vendor sites.
• Proven record of handling multi-city operations or regional P&L responsibilities.
