This role requires a versatile professional who can seamlessly operate between both sites, provide backup leadership to the Transport Manager, and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe transportation services for all UBS employees.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport Operations ManagementAssist in managing daily transport operations for ~2,000 UBS employees across both locationsCoordinate employee transport schedules, routes, and vehicle assignmentsMonitor real-time transport operations and resolve service disruptionsEnsure optimal fleet utilization and route efficiency across Aquila and CentaurusManage transport booking systems, employee registrations, and route changesOversee special transport arrangements for events, extended hours, and emergency situationsDual-Location FlexibilitySeamlessly switch operations between Aquila and Centaurus as requiredMaintain consistent service standards and operational procedures across both sitesCoordinate inter-location transport services and employee transfersAdapt to varying demand patterns and operational requirements at each locationEnsure effective communication and coordination between both site operationsBackup Leadership & Management SupportAct as primary backup to Transport Manager during absencesTake full operational responsibility when requiredMake critical decisions regarding route changes, vendor issues, and service disruptionsLead team meetings and provide operational guidance to transport coordinatorsHandle escalations and client communications in Transport Manager's absenceMaintain operational continuity during peak periods and emergenciesVendor & Fleet ManagementManage relationships with transport service providers and taxi vendorsMonitor vendor performance against SLAs and service quality standardsCoordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure fleet readinessOversee vendor compliance with safety, insurance, and regulatory requirementsNegotiate service improvements and resolve vendor-related issuesManage backup transport arrangements and emergency fleet mobilizationEmployee Service & ExperienceEnsure exceptional transport experience for all UBS employeesHandle employee queries, complaints, and special transport requestsManage transport-related communications and announcementsCoordinate with HR and Admin teams for new joiners and transport onboardingImplement feedback mechanisms and service improvement initiativesSupport disabled employees and special accessibility requirementsSafety & Compliance ManagementEnsure all transport operations comply with local traffic and safety regulationsMonitor driver performance, behavior, and adherence to safety protocolsCoordinate regular vehicle inspections and safety auditsMaintain transport-related documentation, permits, and compliance recordsLead emergency response procedures and incident managementImplement and monitor COVID-19 and health safety protocolsTechnology & AnalyticsManage transport management systems and mobile applicationsGenerate operational reports, analytics, and performance dashboardsTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) and service metricsOptimize routes using GPS tracking and route planning softwareSupport digital initiatives and transport technology implementationsRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field5-8 years of transport/logistics management experience3+ years in supervisory or team leadership rolesExperience managing large-scale employee transport operations users preferred)Background in corporate transport services or fleet managementCore CompetenciesTransport Operations ExpertiseDeep understanding of
