Savitribai Phule Pune University is seeking an experienced Training & Placement Officer with over 8 years of expertise in career services, training, and placement coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the university's comprehensive training and placement activities, ensuring that students are well-equipped to succeed in the competitive job market. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external industry partners, this role will involve designing and implementing employability enhancement programs, coordinating campus recruitment drives, and fostering strong relationships with employers.

In this role, the Senior Training & Placement Officer will drive the end-to-end placement process, from sourcing job opportunities to organizing campus recruitment events. The officer will maintain strong connections with corporate partners, alumni, and recruiters, ensuring that students have access to the best career opportunities. Additionally, the officer will develop and deliver training programs that enhance students' soft skills, technical abilities, and interview preparedness, helping them stand out in the job market.

As part of the career counseling team, the officer will provide individualized support to students, guiding them on career choices, conducting mock interviews, and facilitating skill development workshops. Building a robust network of industry professionals and organizing internships, industry visits, and guest lectures are also key aspects of the role, ensuring that students are exposed to real-world industry practices.

The Senior Training & Placement Officer will also be responsible for generating regular reports on placement statistics, student feedback, and industry trends, providing valuable insights to the university's management. A key part of the role is to ensure the efficient execution of all placement-related activities, including logistical support for recruitment drives and pre-placement talks, while adhering to the university's policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to solving challenges. With an MBA in HR and extensive experience in training and placement, the candidate should be able to effectively mentor students, enhance their employability, and work collaboratively with employers to secure placements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
