Job Summary:

The Delivery Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality delivery of solutions and services to clients or internal stakeholders. This role involves coordinating between project teams, clients, and leadership to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Delivery Specialist is also responsible for identifying risks, managing dependencies, and continuously improving delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project & Service Delivery

  • Ensure the end-to-end delivery of projects, products, or services as per scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, business analysts, product owners) to ensure milestones are met.
  • Maintain visibility of project progress through dashboards, reports, and regular status meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to defined delivery frameworks, governance, and quality standards.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, internal teams, and management for delivery-related updates.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and transparency.
  • Capture and manage client feedback, ensuring timely resolution of delivery-related issues.

3. Risk, Issue, and Change Management

  • Identify delivery risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage change requests, ensuring impact assessments and approvals are completed efficiently.
  • Escalate critical issues to leadership with clear impact analysis and resolution plans.

4. Performance & Process Improvement

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze delivery data to identify improvement areas and implement process optimization initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement frameworks and delivery best practices.

5. Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to align priorities.
  • Support pre-sales or solutioning activities by providing delivery insights and effort estimates.
  • Facilitate retrospectives, lessons learned, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in project or service delivery roles within IT, consulting, or service industries.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in delivery tracking tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional or geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification).
  • Experience working in a managed services or client-facing delivery environment.
  • Exposure to cloud, software development, or digital transformation projects.
  • Understanding of ITIL or service management practices.

  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement and results-driven attitude
