This critical role requires you to develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs that minimizaae downtime while extending equipment life and optimizing operational efficiency. You'll oversee technical staff and contractors, manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditure plans, and ensure full compliance with building codes and safety regulations. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on facility performance through your technical expertise, analytical skills, and leadership abilities. By implementing energy conservation measures and leading facility improvement projects, you'll contribute directly to JLL's commitment to sustainable, cost-effective building operations while ensuring reliable system performance that meets our clients' critical business needs.What your day-to-day will look like:Manage facility technical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation while responding to emergency situations and troubleshooting complex issuesDevelop and implement preventative maintenance programs that optimize equipment performance and extend useful life while minimizing disruptionsOversee and coordinate technical staff, contractors, and service providers, building productive relationships to ensure quality service deliveryCreate and manage annual maintenance budgets and capital expenditure plans, implementing cost control measures that maintain service qualityConduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments while ensuring compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standardsAnalyze energy consumption data and implement conservation measures to improve efficiency and sustainability performanceMaintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and warranties using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Required Qualifications:Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or facilities management field or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in facilities technical managementStrong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across multiple building systemsExperience with budget management and cost control for maintenance operationsTeam leadership skills with demonstrated ability to develop staff and manage contractorsKnowledge of applicable building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standardsProficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Qualifications:Professional certifications in facilities management or technical specialties (FMP, CFM, CEM, etc.)Experience implementing energy management and sustainability initiativesBackground in emergency response planning and managementKnowledge of building automation systems and smart building technologiesExperience with capital project planning and implementationStrong analytical skills for interpreting maintenance and energy consumption dataBackground in continuous improvement methodologies for maintenance operationsLocation: OnsiteAt JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
