Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Onboarding Specialist to join our Commercial Banking team. This role is critical in supporting Client Service Transfers by ensuring all onboarding activities are executed in accordance with bank guidelines and legal mandates. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive requests to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret banker requests for client onboarding and service transfers.
  • Validate authorized signatory documents including CSA, BSC, SADF, SADLF, Mandate forms, Board Resolutions, Partnership Deeds, and Trust Deeds.
  • Manage addition/removal of signor authorizations post due diligence.
  • Ensure high levels of data accuracy and completeness across all records.
  • Communicate effectively with implementation partners and CST teams; draft professional client emails.
  • Coordinate service line transfers and manage relationship scope across LOBs.
  • Conduct research for product setup and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal guidelines, risk controls, and internal policies.
  • Take ownership of assigned transfer cases, ensuring timely follow-ups and escalations.
  • Secure all necessary approvals and execute requests efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate with 24 years of relevant experience in legal documentation and account products.
  • Proven expertise in handling CSA, BSC, SADF, and SADLF documents.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Services (TS) and Commercial Banking (CB) products is a plus.
  • Strong client focus and ability to collaborate across internal teams.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/5 environment, including night shifts.
