Leighton India Contractors has an Urgent opening for Manager HSE at Mumbai location.

Role & responsibilities

  • To ensure the project safety team understand and carry out their responsibilities detailed in the Project Management Plan (PMP) to meet clients requirements
  • To develop and implement Heath, Safety & Environmental related training programs to ensure that all project staff understand and carry out their responsibilities.
  • To liaise with certification bodies and relevant authorities to ensure all legislative requirements and standards are met.
  • To conduct / coordinate project security audits.
  • To coordinate the documentation and development of the PMP with regards to the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the project to comply with companys policies and certification to international standards.
  • Lead security incident investigations and communicate lessons learned. Lead incident investigator for Class 1 incidents
  • To investigate and communicate any accidents/incidents at work site and report to the relevant parties accordingly to prevent recurrence.
  • All their processes are supported by appropriate updated documented procedures that explain how the processes are supposed to be executed
  • Promote an interest and enthusiasm within your required work for health, safety and environment. Self-promote and lead on best practice and act in accordance with the prescribed management system and procedures in fulfilling an injury and incident free working environment
  • Should have proven experience working in high rise building (residential or commercial) projects.

*Must have Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety. (ADIS)
