As one of India's pioneering dedicated cybersecurity departments, MahaCyber employs a multi-faceted approach to address the growing menace of cyber threats. Our focus encompasses the detection, prevention, and prosecution of cybercrimes, as well as fostering cybersecurity awareness among Maharashtra's citizens.

Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including cutting-edge cyber investigation labs, the department operates through a robust framework comprising a Command & Control Centre, Security Operation Centre (SOC), Centre of Excellence (CoE), Technology Assisted Investigation (TAI) and Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT). With over 70 advanced world class tools and a network of around 50 district Cyber Labs across Maharashtra, connected to its HQ in Mahape, Navi Mumbai, we are well-prepared for forensic investigations and real-time cyber threat analysis.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Digital Forensic Trainer, located in Navi Mumbai. The Digital Forensic Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs on digital forensics topics. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing training materials, conducting interactive sessions, demonstrating the use of forensic tools, and providing hands-on training. The role also involves troubleshooting learner issues, assessing participant performance, and ensuring training objectives are met effectively. Collaboration with fellow trainers and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in digital forensics will be essential.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Digital Forensics tools, such as EnCase, FTK, or Autopsy
  • Provenance experience in training the LEA/Defense candidates is a must.
  • Minimum relevant experience of 5 years is mandatory.
  • Understanding of forensic methodologies, incident response, and threat detection
  • Experience in conducting presentations, training sessions, and workshops
  • Proficiency in documenting reports, assessments, and findings
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Certification in Ethical Hacking or Digital Forensics (e.g., CHFI, CCE, GCFA) is a plus
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners
