Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physical Education Teacher to inspire students to develop physical fitness, health awareness, and lifelong sportsmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing an engaging curriculum for students of various age groups, fostering a positive learning environment that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and healthy living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development & Instruction:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate physical education lessons based on the school's curriculum.
  • Teach a variety of physical activities, including but not limited to sports, fitness, and games.
  • Promote physical fitness, motor skills, and teamwork among students.
  • Conduct age-appropriate fitness assessments and record student progress.
  • Classroom & Activity Management:
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students during physical activities.
  • Monitor and supervise students' behavior and ensure their engagement in all physical activities.
  • Maintain proper discipline and promote good sportsmanship among students.
  • Extracurricular & Team Coaching:
  • Organize and supervise sports events, competitions, and intramural activities.
  • Coach and train student teams in various sports (e.g., football, basketball, athletics).
  • Coordinate with other departments for school-wide athletic events.
  • Health & Wellness Education:
  • Educate students about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including nutrition, exercise, and mental health.
  • Promote an understanding of injury prevention and first aid during physical activities.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
  • Assist in planning and organizing school sports events and competitions.
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to discuss student progress and improvements.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay updated on the latest physical education trends, sports innovations, and fitness practices.
  • Attend staff meetings, workshops, and conferences to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (BPEd), Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Proven experience in teaching physical education or coaching sports teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with students of various skill levels and ages.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent physical fitness and coaching skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to design and execute lesson plans for diverse physical activities.
  • Knowledge of sports rules, strategies, and fitness techniques.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to engage in physical activities, including running, demonstrating exercises, and assisting students.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including after-school or weekend events for sports activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
