**Job Summary**:
The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging physical education programs that promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and overall student well-being. The role includes planning sports activities, coaching teams, organizing events, and ensuring that all students participate in physical exercises appropriate for their age and abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and deliver physical education lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Teach students about the importance of physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and sportsmanship.
- Conduct fitness assessments and track students’ progress.
- Coach and mentor students in various indoor and outdoor sports.
- Organize inter-house, inter-school, and annual sports events.
- Ensure the safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and fitness programs.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with academic learning.
- Maintain records of attendance, performance, and student conduct.
- Promote values of teamwork, discipline, respect, and fair play.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a PE teacher or sports instructor.
- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical training techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Certification in first aid or sports coaching (preferred).
- Good organizational and event management skills.

**Work Environment**:

- Requires active involvement in physical activities and sports events.
- Occasional travel for inter-school competitions or events.
