The Pre-Primary Coordinator/Head will lead the academic, curricular, and instructional framework of the early years program, ensuring high-quality teaching, adherence to the school's vision, joyful learning environment, teacher development, and strong parent communication. The role requires prior experience in early years education with strong leadership and curriculum knowledge (EYFS / Montessori / Play-way / NEP-aligned pedagogies).

JOB DESCRIPTION (Pointers)1. Academic & Curriculum Leadership

  • Plan, implement, and monitor the pre-primary curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and school philosophy.
  • Ensure age-appropriate lesson planning, thematic learning, and activity-based pedagogy.
  • Oversee assessment standards, learning outcomes, and developmental milestones.

2. Teacher Coordination & Classroom Supervision

  • Guide and mentor pre-primary teachers in lesson plans, teaching strategies, and classroom setups.
  • Conduct regular class observations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure all teachers follow academic guidelines, timetables, and standards.

3. Training & Capacity Building

  • Plan and conduct training sessions, workshops, and demo classes for teacher development.
  • Support teachers in implementing innovative teaching methods and child-centric practices.

4. Student Learning & Well-being

  • Ensure safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environments in classrooms.
  • Oversee student progress, behavioural development, and early intervention when needed.
  • Coordinate with counselors or special educators if required.

5. Parent Communication & Engagement

  • Conduct parent orientations, PTMs, and communication sessions.
  • Address parent queries regarding curriculum, behaviour, or learning.
  • Represent the early years department in school events.

6. Academic Administration

  • Manage timetables, teaching schedules, planner approvals, and documentation for the pre-primary wing.
  • Maintain teaching-learning resources, inventories, and classroom materials.
  • Support in admissions, school events, and promotional activities as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
