We're Hiring Head – Projects | Desalination & Water Infrastructure I Steel Manufacturing Industry Location: Hazira, Surat Experience: 20 Years above Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; Master's or MBA preferred.

Role Overview:We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Infrastructure Utility Construction Department for a high-impact reservoir development project in a dynamic steel manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in delivering critical water infrastructure, including cross-country pipelines, desalination facilities, and large-scale water management systems. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset to drive timely, cost-effective, and sustainable project execution.

Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and commissioning of the reservoir project, integrating cross-country pipelines and desalination infrastructure. Oversee design reviews, contractor management, and on-ground construction supervision to ensure compliance with scope, quality, cost, and schedule. Work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, environment, and safety teams to align infrastructure with plant needs.

Build and mentor multidisciplinary project teams and manage internal and external resources for optimal project delivery. Ensure adherence to regulatory and environmental guidelines, promoting sustainable water use, reuse, and conservation. Drive strong project governance through progress tracking, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.

Serve as the primary liaison with government bodies, EPC contractors, vendors, and consultants. Introduce innovative construction methods and project management practices to enhance efficiency and control costs. Candidate Requirements: 20 years of relevant experience in infrastructure utility projects with significant focus on reservoirs, pipelines, and desalination.

Proven experience in managing water infrastructure for heavy industries—preferably steel manufacturing or similar process-driven sectors. Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale EPC projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Strong knowledge of HSE standards, environmental regulations, and statutory compliance related to water infrastructure.
