Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes as per family preferences.
  • Plan daily/weekly menus considering nutritional balance, taste, and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure proper use of spices, flavors, and authentic Indian cooking methods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, cooking utensils, and storage areas.
  • Shop for fresh vegetables, groceries, and other kitchen supplies (or coordinate with household staff for the same).
  • Manage time efficiently to prepare meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks) as scheduled.
  • Store cooked food properly and minimize wastage.
  • Follow safety and hygiene standards while handling food.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cooking Indian food (home-style as well as special dishes).
  • Knowledge of regional Indian cuisines (North Indian/South Indian, etc. – as per requirement).
  • Ability to cook vegetarian items.
  • Understanding of dietary needs (less oil, low spice, diabetic-friendly, etc.).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a home cook/chef for families.
  • Ability to prepare snacks, sweets, and festive dishes.
  • Flexible with timings and special meal requests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
