The Incumbant will be responsible for managing the institution's financial records, including processing transactions, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budget preparation. Key responsibilities include maintaining accounts payable and receivable, ensuring financial compliance, and working with accounting software like Tally or school ERP systems.

Core responsibilities

  • Financial record maintenance: Keeping accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and performing audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Financial reporting: Preparing and maintaining financial statements, such as balance sheets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Compliance: Ensuring the school adheres to financial regulations and tax laws, including timely filing of returns.
  • Auditing support: Preparing accounts and supporting the audit process, which includes providing necessary documents to auditors.
  • Software and tools: Utilizing accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or school-specific ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years +Experience in a similar role is required; experience in an educational institution is a plus.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Location : Vasundhara, Ghaziabad.

Work Timings: Monday to Saturday; 9:30 am to 6 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,500.62 per month
