Primary Responsibilities**

  • Scrum Master:

  • Act as a servant leader and coach to the development teams, guiding them in adopting and implementing agile principles and practices

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Scrum framework
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to define project goals, scope, and backlog items
  • Work closely with product and automation teams to ensure that the software solutions deliver value to business customers
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance team productivity and delivery efficiency
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration within and across teams, ensuring clear understanding of project priorities, timelines, and dependencies
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and help teams make decisions by fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that the team is meeting sprint goals, deliverables, and timelines
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, escalating as needed
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches across the organization to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
  • Develops innovative approaches

  • Project Management

  • Develop, document and implement project communication plans (e.g., stakeholder communications)

  • Manage or coordinate communications among all applicable stakeholders
  • Develop or maintain definition of project roles or responsibilities, and communicate to project participants (e.g., RACI matrices
  • Review or monitor project progress and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to identify emerging risks or issues
  • Develop or monitor or maintain applicable risk or issue logs (e.g., IRAAD)
  • Analyze and ensure resolution of identified risks and issues, collaborating with and obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders as needed (e.g., root causes)
  • Develop or implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables or milestones are missed

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in a scrum master role
  • 3+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • Experience in leading and coaching teams, fostering collaboration and communication, and promoting a continuous learning mindset
  • Experience with managing Agile projects
  • Basic understanding of development environments, testing processes, deployment processes, and coding practices
  • Proven excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills, as well as effective communication and facilitation abilities
  • Proven solid leadership, organization, and communication skills and be familiar with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Proven team motivators and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders, developers, and other project participants

Preferred Qualification

  • CSM / PMP certification or the equivalent
