Position: Junior & Senior Accountant

Location: Ichchhapor, Surat

Department: Accounts

Salary Range:

  • Junior Accountant: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
  • Senior Accountant: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Junior and Senior Accountants to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidates must possess sound knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and accounting principles, along with hands-on experience in accounting software such as Tally and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

For Both Roles:

  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and ledgers.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS calculations, and ensure timely statutory compliance.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support in audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
  • Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Manage documentation, vouchers, and filing of all financial records.

Additional Responsibilities (Senior Accountant):

  • Oversee and guide the accounting team in daily operations.
  • Review and finalize books of accounts and financial statements.
  • Handle vendor and client reconciliations.
  • Liaise with management and external auditors on financial matters.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense tracking.

Requirements:

For Junior Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience.
  • Working knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic tax compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

For Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in full accounting cycle, taxation, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage a small accounting team and work independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in Tally ERP / Accounting software
  • Strong command over MS Excel
  • Understanding of bookkeeping and finalization of accounts
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
