We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Career Counselor to
join our team in Calicut
. The ideal candidate will guide students in navigating their career paths, helping them understand opportunities in the job market, and supporting them with the right strategies to secure suitable roles.
This is not an abroad study consultancy role
, but a career services position that focuses on empowering students with job market knowledge, application techniques, and career development support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and group counseling sessions to students regarding career opportunities.


Guide students in job applications, interview preparation, and career development planning.


Analyze students' strengths, skills, and interests to recommend pathways aligned with their goals.


Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international job market opportunities, trends, and industry requirements.


Create awareness programs, workshops, and resources that assist students in understanding how to approach job searches effectively.


Collaborate with the team to design career guidance resources, workshops, and support systems.


Record, track, and monitor student progress, ensuring personalized guidance and follow-ups.


Support in maintaining the quality standards of an international team environment, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.

Requirements


Proven experience in career counseling, student guidance, or training & development roles.


Fluency in Malayalam and English (spoken and written is mandatory).


Strong interpersonal and communication skills to understand student concerns and guide them effectively.


Knowledge of international career opportunities and job markets, with willingness to learn and adapt further.


Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.


Empathy, patience, and a student-focused approach.


Proficiency in MS Office, digital tools, and online communication platforms is desirable.
