Software Architect
 who will design the backbone of our product and guide our engineering team in building scalable, reliable, and innovative systems.

Who You Are

  • You have 
    strong hands-on experience
     as a software engineer and architect, with your last coding/designing role being within the past 3 years.
  • You have experience 
    designing complex systems
     and 
    making architectural decisions
     around scalability, performance, and security.
  • You've led small engineering teams or been a 
    technical mentor
     and have a proven track record of delivering products/services.
  • You understand the 
    modern software ecosystem
    , including identity and access management, distributed systems, containerization & orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), microservices, cloud infrastructure, and release engineering.
  • You are 
    language-agnostic
     but well-versed in multiple programming paradigms and ecosystems.
  • You are 
    passionate about AI
     and curious about how it impacts software design and industry practices.
  • You can explain 
    technical concepts clearly
     to engineers, founders, and even customers.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and design
     core product systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security from the ground up.
  • Work hands-on
     with developers and interns, writing code when needed and ensuring best practices across the stack.
  • Collaborate with founding members
     to brainstorm, prototype, and iterate on product ideas.
  • Mentor and guide
     the engineering team in design reviews, coding standards, and technology choices.
  • Translate product requirements
     into detailed engineering specifications, breaking down work for the team.
  • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and AI-driven development practices
     to keep EnsoMate ahead of the curve.
  • Contribute to technical documentation
     for internal use and external customers when needed.
  • Occasionally, 
    represent the company
     at tech meetups or conferences to showcase technical vision and product architecture.

Compensation

  • Fixed monthly compensation aligned with our early-stage funding realities (
    ₹1,00,000 per month
    ).
