About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced
Accountant / Senior Accountant
with 5–7 years of accounting experience, including 1–2 years of practical exposure to
Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory mandatory.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining
daily accounting operations
,
reconciliations
, and
financial reporting
for multiple business entities. The ideal profile combines
solid accounting fundamentals
with a good working knowledge of the
Zoho Finance ecosystem
.
Key Responsibilities:
Zoho Books & Inventory Operations
- Handle day-to-day accounting in
Zoho Books
— journal entries, payments, receipts, and reconciliations. - Manage
Zoho Inventory
for item entries, stock adjustments, and warehouse updates. - Assist in configuring Zoho modules — approval workflows, invoice templates, and automation.
- Support synchronization between Zoho Books and Inventory modules.
- Generate reports and assist management with
financial dashboards
and data exports.
Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain
books of accounts
for assigned entities in compliance with accounting standards. - Process and reconcile
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
, and
bank transactions
. - Prepare and assist with
monthly closing
,
trial balance
, and
MIS reporting
. - Support the preparation of
financial statements, P&L, and balance sheets
. - Handle
multi-currency transactions
, FX reconciliations, and inter-company billing.
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure compliance with
GST
,
TDS
, and
other statutory requirements
. - Coordinate with external auditors and consultants during audits and filings.
- Maintain documentation and digital records in Zoho Books for audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 5–7 years
of accounting experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment. - 1–2 years of practical experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory
(Zoho One preferred). - Strong understanding of
accounting principles
,
GST
,
TDS
, and basic financial controls. - Hands-on experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and vendor/customer accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of
Zoho Analytics
or other BI tools. - Experience migrating from Tally / other accounting systems to Zoho Books.
- Familiarity with
multi-currency
and
multi-entity accounting
. - Exposure to international accounting is preferred (but not mandatory).
