Summary:

Results-driven and seasoned cloud engineer with extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT systems and infrastructure. Proficient in managing a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, WSUS, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches, WLAN, Web and Application Servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat), as well as monitoring and alerting tools like Nagios and Kaseya. Demonstrated ability to ensure the integrity, quality, and reliability of company systems, WAN/LAN infrastructure, servers, operating systems, storage, and telecommunications.

Key Competencies:

IT Infrastructure Management: Expertise in setting up, administering, and maintaining Microsoft AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, WSUS, Exchange, Lync, and SharePoint.Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches, and WLAN infrastructure.Extensive experience with Web and Application Servers, including IIS, Apache, and Tomcat. Monitoring and Alerting:

  • Skilled in implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions such as Nagios and Kaseya.
  • Proactively ensure the availability of systems globally during unplanned outages.

Cloud Computing:

  • Strong background in cloud computing with expertise in designing, implementing, and migrating web services.
  • Experience in working with innovative development and operations practices in a continuous delivery model.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in active directory, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and system maintenance.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborative team player with a proven ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders on strategic projects while managing concurrent work commitments.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Maintain excellent documentation of systems, processes, and policies.
  • Effectively communicate IT strategic direction and issues to stakeholders on all levels of the business.

Virtualization and Project Management:

  • Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, including clustered environments.
  • Successfully implement projects within designated timelines, adhering to design documentation and allocated time estimates.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Serve as an escalation point for IT issues, providing expert support when necessary.
  • Prioritize troubleshooting and end-user support to ensure seamless business operations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Align hardware, software, and peripherals with organizational needs.
  • Deliver IT services in line with business requirements, contributing to the overall strategic goals.

Security and Disaster Recovery:

  • Oversee systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Help Desk Support:

  • Perform a variety of technical administration duties in the designing, installation, deployment, and maintenance and support of the organization's operating system and associated server software, hardware, databases, network, and security.
