Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced and energetic Shift Manager for our Food & Beverage operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day shift operations, ensure service excellence, and maintain smooth workflow across the team. This role requires strong leadership, quick decision-making, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, guide, and coordinate staff during assigned shifts, including servers, bartenders, runners, and support staff.
  • Ensure team members follow company policies, SOPs, and service standards at all times.
  • Support staff through training, coaching, performance evaluation, and on-shift guidance.
  • Monitor service quality and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and requisitions, minimizing wastage and ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings on menu updates, daily specials, service standards, and operational priorities.
  • Address customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and organization across dining and service areas in compliance with FSSAI norms.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and management for smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Uphold all regulatory guidelines related to food safety, alcohol service, and workplace safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience in restaurants, QSR, cafés, hotels, or catering.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and make quick operational decisions.
  • Good understanding of F&B operations, service sequences, and customer service best practices.
  • Flexible to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Should be legally eligible to work in India.
