Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Accountant to lead and manage the complete accounting and financial operations of our café. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in F&B or retail accounting and the ability to handle daily finances, tax filings, payroll, and MIS reporting independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting: sales, purchases, bank, petty cash, vendor payments
  • Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets, and monthly financial reports
  • Handle GST, TDS, and income tax compliance and returns
  • Maintain and audit inventory costing and stock reconciliation
  • Monitor and optimize cost control for raw materials and overheads
  • Coordinate with management and external auditors
  • Prepare and review payroll, ESI, PF records if applicable
  • Maintain records in Tally / Zoho Books / Marg or similar accounting software
  • Oversee cash flow management and budget planning
  • Lead and train junior accounting staff if any

Requirements:

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in café/restaurant/retail industry)
  • Excellent knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, and taxation rules
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills in English and Tamil

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
