Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and support the senior accounting staff in ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, including data entry and ledger maintenance
  • Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records
  • Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related queries
  • Follow accounting principles and company policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers can apply)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (Tally/Excel knowledge preferred)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Tally ERP or similar accounting software
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliances
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic formulas)
