Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Business Analyst to join our product and delivery team. The ideal candidate will have 2 – 4 years of experience in software development environments, working closely with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories. You will play a key role in requirement elicitation, documentation, backlog management, and Agile ceremonies, using platforms such as Confluence and Jira to ensure clarity and traceability across the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
- Document requirements through BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in line with Agile methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and client discussions to refine business needs. Create process flows, use case diagrams, and wireframes where necessary to support understanding.
- Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
- Maintain requirement traceability using Jira and ensure all documentation is up to date in Confluence.
- Support developers and QA teams by clarifying functional requirements and validating deliverables against expectations.
- Participate actively in Sprint Planning, Grooming, Review, and Retrospective sessions.
- Assist in UAT coordination and sign-off by creating and validating test cases based on requirements.
- Identify potential risks, impacts, and dependencies early in the lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 – 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment
Proven experience in requirement gathering, user story writing, and backlog management.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Proficiency with Jira (for task and story management) and Confluence (for documentation).
- Ability to translate complex business processes into clear, concise, and actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with SDLC, API documentation, and UI/UX fundamentals is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certification in Agile / Scrum (CSM, PSPO, or CBAP) is an advantage.
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or enterprise-level platforms preferred.
