About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong expertise in the payments domain to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UPI, Card Authentication, and Payments Processing, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payment-related products and features.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to define and refine functional specifications.
  • Evaluate and map payment flows including UPI, card authentication, and payment gateway processes.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance product efficiency and user experience.
  • Perform impact analysis for new features, regulatory updates, and system changes.
  • Support QA teams in validating requirements and ensuring smooth UAT.
  • Monitor product performance and assist in troubleshooting issues within payment systems.
  • Prepare BRDs, PRDs, workflow diagrams, and user stories.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain.

  • Strong understanding of:

  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface)

  • Card Authentication flows (3DS, OTP, Risk checks, etc.)

  • Payments Processing (issuer/acquirer flows, switching, settlement, reconciliation)

  • Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and draw insights.

  • Proficiency in creating documentation such as BRDs, PRDs, process flows, and user stories.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Role & responsibilities
